Hi,
I'm trying to set up Windows Media Encoder to stream audio that is played from a regular player on the computer. Everything *should* work, but it doesnt. There is simply no output when I connect to the stream- it is dead noise. However, when I tell windows media encoder to stream a file, it does so just fine...

The thing is like this: I am setting it up remotely through a Remote Desktop COnnection, and I'm thinking that maybe its because its not really playing at that location at all, being that I'm theone who's logged on...

Any tips/advice? I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone has any ideas...

Thanks,
Larry
