i have winxp home on my laptop. It came factory installed with my laptop. installed a SMC wireless pc card. After installation everything worked fine. As soon as i leave the room with the router my connection randomly drops. I get full signal strenghth but it will drop me and then give me trouble re-connecting. It will tell me that there is a wireless connection available and then it won't let me connect. what's the deal?
Did you tried another frequency. it may interfere with another access point in the area.
