RAID on Domain Controller

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 2.802 GHz / 3007 MB
My current domain controller's hard drive is a Single Maxtor STM3320620A hard drive, connected to the IDE RAID Controller.

Now, should I get a 2nd 320 GB IDE Hard Drive and do RAID 1 Mirroring? I am looking for a cheap 320 GB Hard Drive, so will a basic 5400 RPM Hard Drive work or must I get the same drive?

When doing hardware raid matching drives is important to performance and length of service.

Do you suggest me buying the same one for 89.99 or should I buy just 2 120 gb hard drives of the same type? I don't want to spend 80 dollars on this.

drives should be the same manufacturer, type, size, bios rev. It's your decision what you buy.
