Connect to your SOHO Router's management interface and login. On the "wireless" portion of it you'll find your encryption password in clear text.

If you're not sure how to reach your router's management interface you'll do so through your web browser by typing in the router's IP address in the URL bar.

You can find the router's IP by opening a command prompt window (ie: Start >> Run >> type cmd and hit Enter) and entering the following command:

ipconfig /all

The "default gateway" IP address is the IP of your SOHO Router.

I suspect that number was the default IP address of the management interface which is what you would have ended up with had you followed my advice so no harm, no foul.

Make sure you remember the password (key) so you can enter it on the wireless client when prompted for it.
