ok this is a weird one, well maybe not. i have a ps2 with a network adaptor witch lets you play games online.the game works great but it is supposed to have a chat feture that is supposed to work.it comes with a headset so you can talk to others. i called sony and they said i should open up my firewall on my network. is this true ans how do i do it ??
i have a linksys cable/dsl 4-port model#nr041 and a efficinet speed steam 5260 dsl modem
any help would be great
i already tryed to mess with advanced settings and i think i just messed things up so i set everything back the way it was.
if you could email me help too that would be great

don't know about the linksys specifically but the chat program will probably use a specific tcp port to connect.. your firewall should be blocking connections for everything except port 80 (http). you will need to find out what port number the chat program uses and open that port on your firewall.. eg source=any, destination=your ip, port=portnumber, action=accept.

Ok goto www.cheatland.com and use there search feature to look up the game. Make sure you get the right console, and click the link for the forum. Pretty much the same as this but all about that game. Perhaps someone there has had the same problem.
