Program to switch patch-crossover c

JW is there a program out there that will detect that you have a patch cable but should have a crossover and then autimaticly switch the connections internally around so that it would work? I dont see this being to hard.. but thanks

I am not JW. What you want is already done in some routers and switches. It is a hardware function.

I don't think so since you have to swap the input and the output. Most of the ports are designed for a single direction.
