Comment: I'm sure this has been posted before. I've scoured the web and many people have this problem, but I never found any solutions. I have a Dlink di 713p wireless router with a dwp-120 usb network card. I can connect fine on startup, but when I am transferring data for more than a couple minutes it loses the connection, and the only way to get it back is to unplug the router and plug it back in. This is extremely annoying. I need to know what is making this happen, and what I can do to fix it. (my router and pc aren't that far from each other. just down the hall.)

Reply: (edit)could that be a problem? It does seem to get slightly hot, but why would they make a product that overheats that easily? If so, they are the biggest bunch of blockheads to ever make a constantly running wireless router. Also, I'm not completely sure, but I believe it doesn't do it with the other computers in the house, which also have wireless cards.

Reply: (edit)Some chips run hotter than others. Try running a small fan over the modem and see if that helps. Nobody said because they are in business that they are smart. Of course, there is the possiblity that I am wrong. (About the heat.) Larry
