Currently my company has 2 registered domains:
www.mydomain.com
www.mydomainINC.comEach of the above domains is registered with a different registrar. Our company website is www.mydomaininc.com. A forward service (type: CNAME) is setup with the registrar for www.mydomain.com so that when a user enters www.mydomain.com it will forward to www.mydomainINC.com
While I am at work I am able to get our company website using www.mydomainINC.com, but for some reason when I type www.mydomain.com I don’t get forwarded to www.mydomainINC.com and I get a page about apache and cpanel. I contacted the registrar where www.mydomain.com is registered with and they told me that everything is okay on their side…when they type www.mydomain.com they get forwarded to www.mydomainINC.com
.Also, while at home using my owner personal computer I type www.mydomain.com and I get forwarded to www.mydomaininc.com ….but that does not work all the times. Also, I asked a few of my friends to try www.mydomain.com and some got the page cannot be displayed message and some got forwarded to www.mydomainINC.com
Can anyone assist in resolving this issue? I have been trying for a while to find a solution but still no luck.
Thanks,
B

I think you mean that each site is hosted with a different hosting company. It doesn't matter where it's registered. The server software makes the difference.

You can also search Google for IIS or Apache redirects.
