I have an issue. Got a wireless LAN setup with a Linksys wireless router, two laptops and one pc. One of the laptops is from work. I want to share the printer that's connected to the PC. The work laptop is having issues with it. From the work laptop, I can ping the PC's IP address no problem, but when I tried to connect to the PC via Run -> \\192.168.1.x it can not find the network path. Is it some sort of permission problem I have? The work laptop can see the internet fine, but can not go to the router's config page either, although it can ping the router no problem.

Ideas anyone?

Thanks,

Jim

It is recommended that you do not try to configure the router via a wireless connection, because everytime you do, you run the risk of losing the wireless connection and are forced to reconfigure it with the wired PC. If you have already shared the printer connected to the PC, simply go on your laptop and add a printer, select "network printer", and search for it. It should show up if you can connect to the net from the router as you said.
