Problem with Internet connection... Need help

Specs: Windows 7
Okay, so we're running a small business of 4 networked computers, a plotter and a scanner/printer.
All but one can connect and maintain a connection to the internet, except one computer.
They are all linked to a bigpond router via a netgear internet switch.
The problem is that one computer keeps losing its connection for an unknown reason. and is quickly fixed by disabling and re-enabling the LAN connection via the adapter settings in Network and Sharing centre.

It is not a problem with the cables, as i have swapped the cables from other computers and they will still work fine, yet the one that has the problem continues to randomly disconnect.
I have a feeling that it is something to do with the amount of bandwidth as when trying to download something through Utorrent it disconnects every 2 or so minutes.

Can anyone shed some light on this? would be greatly appreciated.

Also, i am running windows 7 and have all the latest driver updates

If it's always happening to the same PC, and only that PC, then it's not a bandwidth issue, it's a problem with that PC unless it's a problem with the utorrents.

You've tried swapping the cables. The next logical troubleshooting step is to change the cable from one port to another on the switch. If the problem persists after that, then you can be fairly sure it's the NIC on the PC that's the problem or your utorrent software/server/connection.

At this point I'd try uninstalling/reinstalling your utorrent software and/or check on forums for similar problems. If neither of those fix the problem it's likely your NIC. The next things to do are:
1) update the NIC drivers if possible
2) uninstall/reinstall your TCP/IP stack

If neither of those two fix it, then replace the NIC.
