Problem w/ Reset Network Adapter New HP Win 7 AIO

Specs: Windows 7 goes.. I have a new (1 month) HP Touchsmart AIO. It came loaded with Norton.
Since day 1, I have been having a connection problem.."reset network adapter" . It will usually happen after sleep mode, but now it does it all the time about 15-20 minutes after the troubleshooter has reset my network adapter.
I have made SEVERAL calls to HP support and though many solutions have been tried, whether it's 1 hour or 1 day, it keeps coming back.
I did a troubleshoot in network and internet..incoming connections section and received this message..Problems found: Security or firewall setting might be blocking the connection DETECTED.
Is it possible that this is running both a windows firewall and a Norton firewall? And could that be the problem?

Just uninstall Norton and see if the problem resolves itself. Also, for a bloated as Norton is you would think that it would actually work, but this is not the case. I have seen way more infections on computers with Norton than with any other antivirus.

In my opinion, Norton causes more problems than it solves.

Try Microsoft Security Essentials, for a nice free basic AV.
Avira AntiVir, for a really strong, free AV
or Kaspersky for a top of the line paid solution.
