I am trying to connect my laptop via router to cable modem and it doesn't work. It works when I directly hook it to cable modem. other computers on router are working properly. I am getting ip address/default gateway and subnet mask. But still its not connecting to internet. I have even tried to ping other computers and it times out. I have set TCP/IP to "obtain IP address/DNS server automatically" I don't know what the problem is. Can somebody please give me some idea ?
