I'm having trouble opening YouTube at home. Since I'm not a frequent visitor to that site, I can't say when I started having the problem. Here's some of the investigations I have done myself.
I have both XP and Vista installed on this machine, and the problem only happens on XP. I use both IE and FireFox and both browsers are affected. I can ping youtube from the command prompt some of the times when it can resolve the domain name to some ip addresses that replies to ping. I can use these ip addresses to visit youtube. Other times I just get request timed out.
I also have a second computer running XP. It's having the same problem.
I use Vista less frequently than XP. So if this is a malware issue, then it's probably because my Vista is less infested than XP. So far, I haven't found another website that I'm having the same issue with.
Does anyone know what's causing the problem?
