Hello, I have a visitor from another company here and he wants to print to one of our networked printers (on a print server). However, he's not logged in nor does have an account. I have him “connected” via a CAT5 cable so he has only internet access. Is there a way to hook him up to the networked/shared printer and not be logged into our network?? If so, how???

if the printer has a print server and can do ip printing you would install the printer software and direct it to a ip port for printing.

As long as he gets an IP address from the network and can ping the printer (not the print server), he can print direct to the printer using it's IP address. For instance if the printer's IP is 1.2.3.4 then you would Add it as a local printer using Standard TCP/IP port. Configure port to use 1.2.3.4 . You will have to load the drivers on his computer if his OS doesn't have them.

I can heartily recommend HP Mobile Printing to him. It is a generic PostScript driver which prompts for destination at print-time.
If you know the IP address of the networked printer then you're laughing.
