printing to network printer at same causes printer not to print.

We have 10 workstations connected to a HP 5si network printer. We are running Novell 4.11, with the workstations running Windows 98SE. When 2 or more people are trying to print at the same time the printer does not print out anything. We have recently gone to WAN, does this have anything to do with it? Can it be corrected? Or is this common. If it can be corrected PLEASE someone help me.
