Printer will not print

February 18, 2011 at 04:35:14
Specs: Windows Vista
I spend hours trying to get my printer to scan and print . I constantly get error messages, different ones each time job doesn't print,0x0000007a,0x80070002. I do not understand messages. Printing jobs will stay in que until I delete them. I have tried everything.Sometimes printer will not activate. Once I get it to activate it will deactivate and then I have to go through the process again. I become frustrated and will try again the nexr day.
What can I do? It is a wireless network connection.

What printer is it? Do you knot the IP of the printer? Did you tell your computer to setup a new printer with that same IP then install the proper drivers?

Tell us what you tried.

The printer is an Hp3050J610a. I was able to get a test page to print out. It states everything is installed correctly. I have an acer laptop. I tested wireless network.Report stated no problems found. The IP address is
Network configuration,IP address under IPv4, Hardware address(MAC) d4:85:64:ef:72:e8.I went into help through windows and HP troubleshooting.
I turned off firewall per instructions. That also didn't work. I try activating through control panel. Sometimes I can get it to activate and sometimes not. I also disconnected power as instructed. I have performed all the troubleshooting from internet and from printer guide.
