Comment:

I have set up ICS and file sharing between these two PCs.

However, I can't get the 98 to print to my Lexmark. I have set up the printer in XP (host) to sharing and have run the printer wizard in 98 (client). I can find the printer on the network and set it up, but at the end it says it can't establish a connection and to contact the Administrator.

Any ideas?

The Lexmark is on LPT1 on the host.

Go into the computer that the printer is hooked up to and make sure the printer is marked shared

Upon reinstall of Win 98 on the client, things work perfectly. Apparently the PII was infected with the CIH virus. My windows are clean now, lol.
