Reply: (edit)The print server won't be aware of what hardware exists on the client sending a print job and it won't care. To create a print server, physically attach a printer to a computer. Install the software. Share the printer. When you go to install a printer on a client machine, make it a network printer and path it to the computer with the printer attached (ie: \\computername\printershare) and have the install disk for the printer handy.
