i d like to know how to connect my printer ( epson stylus 600) to my router ( linksys 4 ports . I use a printer hub hp jetdirect 170x.
The technician at lynksys told me the connection is possible.

J'aimerais savoir si qqun peut m' expliquer la facon dont brancher une imprimante à un routeur lynksys 4 port de sorties. L'imprimante est une epson stylus 600. Les ordis fonctionnent sous win 98 et 2k.
Pour l'imporimante je possede un hub hp jetdriect 170x.

The jetdirect 170x is a print server so you should be able to plug that direct into your router. You then plug the printer into the server.
Before you can use it you need to set-up the print server. This means allocating it an IP address compatible with your exisiting network. The 170x should have software to enable you to so that.
Once the print server is configured you can then connect the printer and install it as a network printer.
