I have a d-link 301p single print serve 10/100 fast ethernet multi protocol print server driving my epson 660 printer from 3 PCs I want to reconfigur the print server and replace the firmware but when I set it up I protected the configuration with a password I HAVE FORGOTTEN!! the password.
Is there anyway I can get back to the factory settings without knowing the password ? Can you help me?

Be very greatfull

Usually, there is a reset button on the back of the router. It is one of those small buttons that you have to press using a paperclip or a nidle. Check your router if it has anything like that. After pressing it for few seconds you should have your router reset to the factory settings. For most routers

Username: Admin
Password: password

You can check the manual for details.

Thank you for the tip, but its not the router that the password is on, Its the print server Its a password option you can have on the configuration once you have set it up, it asks you if you want to enter a password, which I did at the time. now I want to alter the settings but I have forgotten the name I put in. I`ve been told you can reset to the factory settings in some way to override the password but I do not know how. can anyone help?
