So, my computer won't open any ports. I've opened them, time after time, and they just won't be detected as open.

I have no firewall on
I've correctly opened the ports

I think faulty hardware may be involved but I'm not completely convinced. Any help?

If no firewall is turned on, what are you opening ports on? You need to open them on your router as well as any software firewalls you are using.

I've opened ports through my router. I goto my home address, 192.168.0.1, then I follow through the appropriate settings.

Is 192.168.0.1 your router?
