I have my terminal server port set to 21 instead of 3389 so that I can access it from another computer that has 3389 blocked. The problem is that I now want it to be accesaable from 3389 too.

Can I redirect incoming connection to port 3389 to port 21? I have a linksys router. Is this something I can do in the router or do I need another program?

Many home routers offer what they call NAT. It is really an improved version of NAT that offers also port redirection (some call PAT). See the documentation on that model of router for more info.

Now that also depends on the exact type of traffic. Also inbound and out bound might need to be edited as well as reg edits.

See web pages on remote desktop. Some say to modify the port for security.

I don't see why not. It would take you less than 5 minutes to try it.
