Port Fowarding not working

April 22, 2009 at 23:22:54
Specs: Windows Vista
I'm using a Linksys WRT300N router for this

So I go to and click
Applications and Gaming to change the Port
Fowarding settings. I type in the stuff, hit save
changes, and I get this:

The webpage at
might be temporarily down or it may have
moved permanently to a new web address.

It also doesn't apply the changes that I tried to do.

How do I fix this?

You don't need port forwarding to access a web page on the LAN. That is only if you wanted users on the outside to access it.

Secondly, you can't have a web page at because that's the address of the router & you can't host a web page on a router.

web page Blue Apartment is talking about is that of the router interface

Blue Apartment you are logging in as admin correct?

If so then there is a problem with the router. Might want to note the wan settings then set the router back to factory defaults and reconfigure. I would also check linksys's web site for a firmware update for this model.
