I bought a program recently, PFConfig(Port Forwarding Configuration), that automatically forwards ports on my router.
So I tried forwarding ports for an online game I play, and the program told me it was completed successfully. So I checked to make sure with a port checker, and was told that my ports were not open or not reachable. and then rechecked with another port checker and got the same reply. So I then tried forwarding ports for ten other games picked randomly, and with the port checkers I got the same reply with every single one of them: "Your port is not open or not reachable".
What am I doing wrong? Why don't any ports open? Thanks in advance.

There also seems to be some confusion on when to forward ports.
You say you are going online to play games.
You don't forward ports to play other people's hosted games. You forward ports when you are hosting the games. You forward to your games server that you are hosting.
No mention of you hosting games. No need to forward ports.
