Hi all,
I new to this forum, However I am having an issue with my network design/ implementation. What I am trying to achieve is listed below.
Currently I have 2 linksys RSV4000 routers
2 ISPs - optus cable (dynamic IP) and Microwave link with Static IP.1 web server running Micrsoft IIS.
1 Lan P2P and SIP/ VOIP which is currently running off the optus cable connection and 1 RSV4000 router. However what I am trying to achieve is to run my web server over the static I from the Microwave link and port forward 80 on the on the 2nd RSV4000 router. This server is running a CRM web portal were clients will log into, so i will need a static IP to do this, however in saying the database for the CRM software also needs to be running on this server so it can be populated with the clients requests once they have sumitted the online form.
Members of the office (remember the office is running off cable connection) also need to access/ populate this database file siting on the web server HDD. which is of course on the Microwave link lan.
So what I have tried with no avail is to run a 2nd network card on the Webserver for the Optus connection but this has cause some gateway issues. whereby i cannot access the gateway login page with Optus plugged in but unplug and its fine. I have also disabled DHCP on the 2nd router running on the Microwave. still no luck. I have open port 80 as IIS need this to run and be accessible through the firewall, I still cannot access web server from an outside connection.I have also tried DynDNS over the optus (dynamic IP) connection and again opened Port 80 still with no avail to access the web portal. I am unsure where I have gone wrong with my port forwarding is on these routers and if possible I would like to run a dual WAN into a single LAN (for security and speed reasons) is this possible???? and How can it be done any help and advise will greatly be appreciated.
Thanks,
