Hello. Is there a free tool anywhere that I can use to detect what ports an application is attempting to connect to or listen on (UDP & TCP). I have tried netstat via command prompt, and though it helped in determining the TCP ports it didn't appear to display UDP ports properly.

I've also tried FPort, but that refuses to run. I then found 'Active Ports' which seemed to do the same thing as netstat, except with a GUI frontend, only problem is it also didn't show the UDP ports correctly?

Is there a good port detection tool out there that works? Thanks.

Ethereal doesn't show what ports are open; it shows what traffic is passing.
