Hi my I have two PCS one with the net and a client I was to use ICS and connnect the client to internet through the one with the net (p.s I do NOT want to but a router or switch) basically everything is set-up but I can access file sharing and see mine in the workgroup, on the client I have a built in NIC and on the other a PCI NIC connected together with a cross-over. On the Client I cannot access the net or play LAN games with client. Both PCS are in the same workgroup and can file share etc. Its strange because a friend of mine brought his PC round to mine and we managed to make all this work on his. One with the net has Xp Home and SP2, firewalls are off and Zone alarm. Is there a problem in my BIOS something I need to enable? the Ip for the one with the net is :192.168.0.1 and subnet: 255.255.255.0 and the client is set to obtain auto. Im so curious everything worked on my friends when he brought his round, because orginally we tried to network the Client and his together again file sharing worked but not LAN games, its like it doesnt know a network exsists. PLEASE HELP

did you enable ICS on the pc with the internet? You don't mention it. Without that and two nics or network interfaces bridged together in the internet access pc there is no internet to the 2nd pc. no internet = no lan games
