Please help, I have a Toshiba Laptop and AT&T DSL conection. I'm trying to install the netgear router and it keeps telling me ethernet conection is not conected what can I do to solve this problem?

connect the router to DSL unit. The yellow connects to DSL and router then internet cable is connected to router.

obviously you aren`t installing it with ethernet cable, but the program you are installing it with looks for a ethernet cable

how are you trying to install it

you suggest installing a driver. Did you tell rreneau what driver?

rreneau I am going to assume you have your nic driver loaded and operational. You want to connect to the modem first and then do an ipconfig /all to get all the isp settings and confirm internet access.

Once you have done this post back and we will move on to accessing the router.

Was this ever connected wirelessly? Is the right adapter being selected? I nevel had to install s driver for a modem or router.
