ok i connected my computer to a network, everythin is good .. the hub lights says that im connected.. then i did the XP network wizard, it completed successfully , but when i go to My network place -> view workgroup... i cant see any computer, except Mine.. ( my friend can c me from his 2 machines but he cant access, he just can c my pc..).. how can i fix it? i really need help! :)

you're on the right track but you need to make sure that the computers that you are connecting have IP addresses in the same range eg: 192.168.1.1 subnet-255.255.255.0
and set up file and printer sharing on the computers.

Change the primary client to MS Client for MS Networks, enable/install netbuei and be sure that you have same user logon names with different computer names.

This should work out.
