I have a Ascend Pipeline 85 and I get a server assigned IP from my ISP. I'm looking for a way to access my PC(2000pro) throught the net. Bottom line I would like to have access to my Home PC from work through the net????? Thanks

If I remember correctly, the Ascend Pipeline 85 is an ISDN BRI router w/ firewall. The firwall is the issue with this router and I dont remember seeing a way to config this router to allow a DMZ Host. Look for a DMZ Host or demilitarized zone in your setup. If you find one, then assign an internal IP to your Win2000Pro and assign the DMZ Host to that IP. This mean that all firewall from your router will be useless... Your Windows2000Pro is sitting on the Internet. Since it's the Pro and not server. You can Share a Folder and place a PASSWORD on that folder... if you use the SAME password as the password on your work workstation then you wont have to re-enter the password when accessing the folders at home.
