This is my configuration on my LAN:
DESCRIPTION HOST PC LAN PCDHCP ENABLED YES NO
IP ADDRESS 24.114.34.153 192.168.0.0
SUBNET MASK 255.255.254.0 255.255.255.0
DEFAULT GATEWAY 24.114.34.1 -
DHCP SERVER 24.2.9.105 -
DNS SERVER 24.2.9.33 24.2.9.23
24.2.9.35
PRIMARY WINS SERVER - 24.112.247.254QUESTION IS - WHAT HAS TO BE MY CLIENT CONFIURED TO PING ?
I NEED TO PING THE 2 PC’S

This is a nonsense!!! any computer can ping an other!!! And ping is only a diagnostic tool, its not for daily usage!!!

Ping can be used any time you want to for whatever purpose you want.
You have four different networks here. To ping from network to network your router (default gateway) has to have a presences in each network.
You have the Host PC and the default gateway on network 24.114.34.0, your DHCP, and DNS are on network 24.2.8.0 (I am assuming your are still using 255.255.254.0 for the subnet mask that's why it's .8 and not .9), your WINS is on 24.112.246.0 (again assuming 255.255.254.0), and finally your LAN PC is on network 192.168.0.0.
You should be able to ping your default gateway from your Host PC with no problem. To ping your LAN PC, you will have to assing your default gateway with an additional address in the 192.168.0.0 network. Something like 192.168.0.1 if you like.
PLEASE NOTE...Your LAN PC does not have a valid IP address. 192.168.0.0 is a network address and not a full IP address. Either you are going to have to statically assign it an IP address, like 192.168.0.2 or get a dynamic assignment from a DHCP server.

Being that you are on Rogers you are going to want to use Dynamic settings if you not behind a firewall/router. Rogers no longer works with static settings.
