i have physical and virtual PC they both have Windows XP 2007(professional edition)
i want to connect physical and virtual PC to share the data between them.
how can i do it?

make sure the VM is on a bridged network, not nated, make sure you can ping each other? are they on the same domain or workgroup? they need to be on the same subnet, if not, it will require a layer 3 device, between the VM and your computer to talk with one another

Go with jefro's response but i'll provide more details.

Once you're on your Virtual Windows XP, go to "Actions" then "Install or Update Virtual Machine Additions". You should then be installing software onto your Virtual PC to help you out.

Another method is going to "Edit" then "Settings", click on "Share Folders" and pick any folder you'd like to share.

Just make sure they can ping one another, or nothing will work.
