Give us some product serial numbers as to what you have got.

Wireless phone line router and modem router are meaningless. I could guess at what you mean but thats all it would be unless I know exactly what you have.

The only thing that connects to a phone-line is a modem. Some routers have a modem built in. A router and a modem are two completely different devices. Is this what you have?

Thanx for the reply stuart
ok here is the problem i have cable internet with a cable modem and 54mbps router then i was give a new faster more powerful 270mbps router (wireless nfiniti-n router) when i looked it up in a catalogue it said it was the phone broadband router version not the cable broadband router version so i just wanted to know if i can use a converter so i can plug the efhernet cable in the new router or if i just have to buy new,
the person who had the router before me has pulled all the labels of so the is no serial numbers on it.
