Peer to Peer between Win XP & OS/2

Specs: Windows XP
I have my OS/2 V3, I would like to connect my OS/2 with my desk is Win XP, but the issue is I can ping each orther with the ip address, but I can't ping with host name, and I also can't mape network from C drive of OS/2 to be shared at window XP. but prevoius time we used window NT we can mape a network drive from OS/2. Please advice me if anyone have any solution.

Name is netbios. Install it or use host file. Better still just use IP address.

Might have to repost this on OS/2 forum. It has been a long time since I used OS/2. Seems to me I remember that almost nothing MS was installed by default. Since you want to share it is a MS file sharing issue. See about cifs support maybe.

Darn I liked OS/2. Talk about stable and usable. Didn't care for the $280 price tag.
