I have bought an airport extreme base station (2009
version) and have a new Dell running vista (tower unit).
Which PCI wireless adaptor card brand should I buy that
work well with airport extreme without much problem?

AirPort Express is compatible with computers(nics) using the 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g specifications, and it also works with computers that are 802.11n draft 2.0 compliant.
taken off their web site so any vista compatible pci card supporting the n draft spec would do
ive just installed this in a vista pc,& works ok
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Netgear-WN3...
with a range max router it works fine, cant see whay it wouldnt work on the 'airport'
there are cheaper pci netcards which dont support the n draft and work at the slightly lower 54mbs
currently sat in front of me waiting to be installed & tested
supports (g) (b)
http://www.directron.com/tlwn651g.htmlalso i found the netgear(n), is slightly faster than the belkin n1
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-WIRE...which, ive also tried ,but i didnt like, the usb connection , was reasonably fast tho 230mbps
on a mimo router, with all you need to get the latest drivers from the manufacturers web site not the one s that come suplied on cd i was suprised how old some are.if in doubt just ring up apple support theyre helpful
