Was helping a friend set up a wireless access. His wireless network card, PCI, works great, HOWEVER, every 2 or 3 days, the wireless card disappears.

To start with, when it is installed, it shows up in system devices as a network adapter AND as a modem. When it quits working, if you go into system devices, it still shows as a network adapter, but does not appear as a modem. If you reinstall the software, it appears as both again and works.

Any ideas? I don't think it should be showing up as both a network adapter and as a modem to start with.... not sure why that is happening.......
