Comment:

Good afternoon.

We have PcAnywhere on our systems and one of our colleagues tried to listen to something on her PC at home while logged on to her workstation at work. The sound did not come out of her speakers at home, it came out of her speakers at her work location.

Is there a setting so that sound can be heard at the remote location instead of at the work location?

Also, currently she has print settings that allow her only to print at the work location. How can she set her software up to be able to print at her home/remote location if required?

Thanks so much for any assistance you may offer.

Consider a nome-de-plume.

What version of pca?

Norton offers plenty of documentation with the product and online.

You may wish to look into remote desktop.

There are many ways to go about this, I've never used PC Anywhere myself so I don't know if it provides a method for printing locally.
I suggest installing PDFcreator on the work PC, then when the user wants to print at home, she prints to PDF, transfers the PDF file via PCAnywhere (or email) and then prints the PDF file.
