Good morning.
We have some employees who are working remotely from home using pcAnywhere v10 software. They are continually having issues with not being able to get in because our IP address changes.

Other than changing the IP to Static, the only option using PCAnywhere is to continue to notify the users of the new IP.
Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

There are freeware applications available for download which will solve your problem. You install the freeware on a PC at your office that is running 24/7. The software works by checking the current WAN IP Address every x minutes, and if the IP changes, it updates it on a free DNS Server. You choose a hostname, using a combination of your choice of second level domain, and the freeware's domain name.
Example:
myCompanyName.no-ip.info
myCompanyName is what you choose, no-ip.info is the freeware's domain name.
Once you settle on a domain name combination, the chosen name is what you would input in your PC Anywhere client in lieu of the WAN IP address.
Google NO-IP DUC (Dynamic Update Client). Signing up is easy. I have been using this freeware on many DHCP WAN-fed networks for many years with no problems.

Jennifer, thanks for your contribution! Much appreciated.
Smitty, yours seems like a potential solution here and I will look into it. My only concern is security and using freeware can be a red flag from a security standpoint.
Thanks!
