I have 2 PCs that I just connected with a crossover cable for Internet sharing. On PC1 Everything is fine... I can even see the shared files of PC2... on PC2 I can see the shared files of PC1 but for soem reason it doesnt connect to the internet. I ran the Network Setup wizard on both PCs... PC2 is connected to my computer but it doesnt connect to the internet. It's as if it didnt have a connection anywhere.

Use the control panel for internet options, connections, lan settings. If using another browser see how to setup proxy settings. Use the ICS IP address of PC1 (I made a very large asumption that internet connection sharing is on that PC1 and you have it setup)
Look at the help and support pages for ICS.What you are doing with ICS is sharing (proxy) the connection from 1 to 2. One is now the ISP sort of. Your PC2 needs to request any web pages from PC1 not the internet. PC1 will then proxy the request from PC2 to the intenet and back. The IP address of PC1 and the correct port number is needed. I think ICS uses something like 192.168.1.1 or something like that for PC1. Dunno the port number.

What would the port be?

I did everything that Help & Support thing in Windows tells me to do for ICS. I ran the Wizard on both PCs but the 2nd one still cant get online. On the Host the NIC used for internet says that it is a shared connection. I still cant figure out what's wrong.
