Hello I just got a Mac Mini and wanted to transfer all of my files on my old Dell running XP Pro. I tried a direct ethernet but that got really messed up so now I am attempting to grab the files off of a shared network. On my PC I enabled sharing and took the passwords off yet when I try to access the server on my Mac it asks me for a random password. I have tried every password i have ever used yet none of them seem to work. Anyone have and ideas?
