Hi, I have an older (but it works perfectly) that I don't use much anymore. There are a few things that I've done on the laptop, however (word files, some pics, and other things I'd have to go through) that I eithera) would like to transfer to my Desktop iMac (5 years old) but I still love it or;
b) maybe transfer the files to a DVD (the laptop has a DVD holder and I "think" and ethernet holder) and then at some time transfer what's on the DVD to my Mac.
I'm not computer illiterate, but I need to know which is the better way to do this, if possible, and what wires I may need and a step by step way to do it. I'm afraid of messing up anything on my iMac!!! I would appreciate any questions or feedback on how to do this and what would be easiest. I'm more familiar with working with a Mac than a PC. Thanks very much.
Trudi
