I tried changing my server NIC.... still doesn't work.

Anybody can help. I had even tried reinstalling the win2k(by replacing the file, nvr format), the problem still exist.

However, if I load a "fresh" win2k system, I dun encounter the problem.

PLS HELP!!!

It is a known issue. There is a fix for it on MS site, but I don't know the specifics. It has something to do with explorer wanting to search the entire folder in a strange way.

workaround: If you used IE to open the network share, it should work.
