I have win2000 at work with a dsl connection to the internet. I have win 98 at home with a cable modem connection to the internet. I have checked the ip addresses they have not changed.

What happens when you try to connect? Does it just say it can't find a PC Anywhere host?
I assume that you verified that you had PC Anywhere in a Host waiting state.... Did you have these connections password protected? And also, does your Windows 2000 computer at work have a direct connection to the Internet, or is it through a router/firewall? If it is a direct connection, was there a password on the Administrator account, or password on any other local accounts that have administrative right?
