In Windows XP Home, is there a way I can set up a shared folder so that network users have to enter a password to open it? Like in Windows 98, for example.
XP Home (opposed to Pro) has neutered mechanisms for controlling user access to shares, so that's why the site's instructions for Home are so complicated. Good Luck
