password protecting an FTP server

I am trying to set up an FTP server, but would like to have good password protection. Can anyone direct me to a program that can generate random passwords at certain interval, that would interface and synchronize with an FTP server. Im not exactly sure how to explain this... Thanks in advance.

I would not recomend doing this... FTP is not very secure\.
