PAP Modem not working

Hi All,

I wonder if you can help me?
I have just switched to Acanac cable and the internet is working fine but my PAP2 phone modem is not working (the light is on).In fact,I have tried the option to pick up the phone and dial ****110# but the adapter was not reading back (with voice) the IP address and plus the IP address which he gives me was and then i hooked my internet directly to my PAP modem without passing by my DLINK Router and was suprised that the address I was given was 72.53..... which is different from the one I use to use in order to connect to the configuration panel to adjust settings of my Vbuzzer phone.I believe there is a confusion between the IP of my router and my VOIP modem??? not sure what to do....any thoughts??? Thanks for your help!!

Equipments used are:
Modem cable SB5101N
VOIP Modem: Linksys PAP2
Router: DIR-615
Phone VBuzzer

I think you should call your service provider and work it out with them. They are able to troubleshoot the connection or any other issues on the line, much better that we can.

If they say everything is okay on their end then we can help.
