I have a Laptop and a desktop. I have a belkin router, wireless hooked up to the desktop and am trying to print to the printer that is connected to the desktop. The desktop has XP and the laptop has vista. The only way I can print is to turn off the Panda 2008 Firewall on both computers. Then it prints fine. I have tried to figure out how to set up the firewall to allow this but to no avail. Panda has not returned my two emails as of yet. Any help.

Apparently, there is no exception list like there is in Windows Firewall. If you can't find any manual settings, open a command prompt and cd to the directory where the panda exe is.
Then type panda /? and press enter.

See if it gives you any command line switches.

Windows Firewall has an exception list. File and printer sharing should already be in that list. Just check it.

Panda returned my email and what they told me worked. I am adding what they told me to do so everyone knows it is closed out.

"The Panda Antivirus + Firewall 2007/2008 firewall blocks intrusion attempts via wireless networks (WiFi). When an intruder attempts to access, a pop-up warning is displayed that allows you to immediately block the attack.

This feature is enabled by default. Follow these steps to enable or disable this protection:

1. Go to Settings and click on Automatic protection settings.

2. Click on Firewall protection.

3. Click on Advanced settings.

4. To enable this feature, check Enable detection of WiFi intrusions. To disable it, clear the check box.

5. Click on OK.

As an additional security measure, it is recommendable to correctly encrypt your wireless network. For more information, refer to the documentation for the hardware components of your WiFi network.

After having authorized or denied the WiFi network connections in the pop-up warning, this will not be displayed again. If you want to change the permissions you assigned previously in the warning, you can do so through the Reset Wi-Fi warning button (Settings > Automatic protection settings > Firewall protection > Advanced settings > Advanced settings > Reset Wi-Fi warning).

On re-establishing the WiFi warnings, a pop-up message will appear every time there is a connection attempt through a wireless network, regardless of the permissions established previously."
