ow can I share a CD-ROM, I have a differ

Sure, Sure, Everyone has sharing problems. But when I share a CD-rom drive, i try to share the actual CD. On My Sony Vaio, I have outputs, so I can connect it to my Television, and my Stereo. On my HP, I have a DVD drive... I thought hard,,, Now I want to run DVDs, off of my HP, into the networked Sony Vaio, and be able to watch it on my Sony Vaio... please help... If this makes no Sence, I will re-type this.

doesnt it work when u share the DVD drive of the HP and map it as a network drive on the sony? do u have DVD player software on the sony (of course u do)? then I guess the DVDplayer software does not support networked drives
