hey just a quick question, so i've got a basic set up at home
computer > router > modem > internet... but can other people see what sites i am going to? like is there a log or soemthing..?
Your ISP see & record where you go but not what you do unless they plant a keylogger on your PC at the request of the FBI (Court warrant is no longer needed under Bush Administration)
Also, your OS records your internet history. But "other people" on other computers can't see that.
But yes, your ISP is required to keep a log of the sites you visit. If you do something illegal, your local police can subpena your ISP for your history to verify that you connected to a particular internet site at a specific time.
