If you are using a Orinoco wireless pc card, can you tell me your experience with it, such as: 1. What is the max range you got? 2. Is it difficult to configure the WPA encryption? 3. Anything amazing or terrible about Orinoco? 4. Is there any particular model you would advise to buy or not to buy?
I am thinking of getting one, and would appreciate your feedback. Thank you.

The main reason I bought a Orinoco - Gold - is because it's one of the few approved wireless cards for Netstumbler, and it comes with a port for plugging in an external antenna...great for wardriving (purely for research purposes mind you)!
As for the rest...you seen one you seen them all.

Thanks for your replies. I got so inspired that I also bought an Orinoco card with a/b/g features. It's on its way.
I hope that installing the software would not be difficult, as seen in some forums.
